USPS Tracking service provides the mailer with information about the date and time an article was delivered and, if delivery was attempted but not successful, the date and time of the delivery attempt. USPS Tracking service is available only at the time of mailing. No record is kept at the office of mailing. USPS Tracking service does not include insurance, but insurance may be purchased as an additional service. Delivery status information is available at www.usps.com/tracking or by calling 1-800-222-1811.
Available for: Priority Mail, First-Class Mail parcels, First-Class Package Service parcels (electronic option only) Standard Post and Media Mail. Not available for: restricted APO/FPO/DPO destinations, U.S. territories, possessions, or freely associated states in DMM 503.11.
May be combined with: COD, insured mail, Registered Mail, and Return Receipt for Merchandise (Form 3804 and 3811). Also with Restricted Delivery or Return Receipt when purchased with insurance for more than $200, COD, or Registered Mail.
Domestic shipments may include USPS Tracking at no additional charge.
